I coached Cross Country, led the Yearbook Committee, and mentored teachers on campus. I moved to Deer Valley Unified School District and worked at Anthem School as a 2nd and 5th grade teacher for five years. After moving to Anthem in 2009 with my family, it was then that I realized just how incredible the Anthem community was and decided to continue my educational career in Anthem. It was during this time that I was also the soccer coach for 6th -8 th grade students. I began my teaching career in the Cartwright School District, where I taught K-3 rd grade. My passion for education has been shaped through my 15 years in education as a parent, teacher, mentor, coach, and administrative experiences.
